A Little About

My name is Sonia Walsh, an artist teacher from Rochester, NY. I have experience teaching levels from Pre K all the way to 12th grade, as well as special education.

As an artist, I am most comfortable with pen and ink, as well as watercolor and pencil drawing. I have worked as a freelance illustrator and comic book artist for a decade, and hope to encourage students to think about their art-making and how their experiences shape their own art.
